Involving language learners: Success stories and constraints

Friday 26th November 2010

More information: http://www.uni-due.de/lasig/

The IATEFL Learner Autonomy SIG and the Applied Linguistics-Didactics section of the Department of Anglophone Studies at the University of Duisburg-Essen will host a one-day conference on autonomy in language learning.

We would like to invite you to discuss your ideas and experiences concerning learner autonomy and its practical implications with us. On the day there are going to be plenary speakers (to be announced soon), workshops for more in depth discussions and the opportunity for poster presentations. The focus of the whole day will be on success stories and constraints and as we expect participants from all different kinds of backgrounds, groups with the special foci might be formed, such as technology in Language Learning, CLIL, Young Learners, Learner Autonomy and Related Concepts, Teacher Training and learner Autonomy in the Tertiary Sector.
